Only small parts of the songs "Saans ke jakham" and "Rukhe rukhe se" are used in the film. "Saans ke jakham" is a beautiful and intricate ghazal sung wonderfully by Manna Dey. Can't believe that Salil composed such a song. The full versions of these two songs are only available on a 78rpm record. "Deko na more" and "Jaa jaa jaa baansi" are also two memorable songs. The background music throughout is amazing. For the collectors, a VCD has now been released (January 2003). |
