| * Lyrics by Gulzaar The bengali version of the song 'Gangaa aaye kahaa.n se' in Ganga was sung by Manna Dey. I find it difficult to compare the two versions. Manna Dey's singing is full of pathos and gives the song a different dimension altogether. At the same time nobody can deny that his 'Ai mere pyaare watan' in 'Kaabuliwaalaa' is an alltime classic.  |
