The World of Salil Chowdhury

These four films have been mentioned in the past, but I don't think they were ever made:
1. Ei Ritur Akdin
2. Cholo Kolkataa
Cholo Kolkata' was also supposed to be based on a story by Salilda. Anup Ghosal, a well-known classically trained singer even recorded a song - 'Cholo Kolkata' but as usual the film was never made and the song was lost.
Only recently (January 2003) during my visit to Kolkata I managed to get in touch with Anup Ghosal and he very kindly sang the song for me. Typical Salil lyrics - raw and hard comments on the declining morality of Kolkata with a plea not to abandon Kolkata.
3. Obhisake
I do not have ny information on 'Obhisake' yet.
4. Aswamedher Ghodaa (1981) - A Ritwick Ghatak film. I don't know if it was ever completed.
The only thing I know is that Jesudas apparently recorded one song for Aswamedher Ghodaa which was in Hindi (starting words 'Zindagi...'). Another Hindi version of this song in yet another never-made film called 'Mitti Ka Dev' (Hindi). This was sung by Mukesh.
