I had no idea about the existence of this film. Suddenly a VCD appears on the market and the censor date of this film is given as March 1995. The strange thing is that it has some very well known actors and actresses such as Utpal Dutt, Ashok Kumar,Zarina Wahab etc and nobody seeems to have heard of the co-music director Babul Bose. The playback singers are listed as Sabita Chowdhury, Anuradha Paudwal, Shailendra Singh, Amit Kumar and Kavita Krishnamurthy. We strongy think that Jolly Mukherjee is the male voice of the third song. Yes, I know, his name doesn't appear on the sleeve. The first song is sung by four (in the film four people are singing this song) the second song is a solo female voice and the third one is a male voice.Difficult to recognize the voices though.
Song#MD1 is a hindi version of the bengali song 'O phuler dal' sung by Usha Mangeskar. There's already a hindi version of the same song in 'Dil ka saathi dil' which was the dubbed hindi version of the Malayalam film 'Madanolsavam'. Song#MD2 is a lovely song but I am not sure if its a Salil composition. I asked Antara and she doesn't think so either. So, who knows?
