"oru naal vishenare" is a gem ! It is basically the malayalam version of Salil's all time Bengali classic "kono ak gaanyer bodhu" but the arrangement in "devdasi" is just amazing with wonderful guitar intro and Salil has inroduced quite modern chord variations in this version. A rare treat. In the late '80s and early '90s Salil went to the US and the UK with Sabita and Antara and one of the songs they performed was of course "kono ak gaanyer bodhu" - with this modern arrangement. |
