| As usual we get wonderful new arrangements of some of the best Bengali songs of Salil in this film. The beautiful counter melody by Sabita in "rakkuyille urangu" adds a new dimension to one of Salil's most beautiful compositions in Bengali "raat kuheli chhaDaano" from "rai Bahadur" and its amazing hindi version "chaand kabhi thaa baaho.n mein" from "Sapan Suhaane". One definitely needs to listen to all the versions of these songs to really appreciate Salil's genius. |
