Irrevelant information may be but Gangai Amaran, the lyricist, is the brother of Illya Raja, the famous South Indian MD who has composed music for over 700 films and was also a gutarist in Salil's orchestra.
The heroine of this film was Shobha who had committed suicide in the 1980s. The director of this film was Balu Mahendra who later became Shobha’s husband (not legally married because he had another wife and children and all these things had lead to her suicide).
One mini-LP(2378-3576) was released under the INRECO label with all the four songs. A cassette was also released later and a VCD and a DVD much later.
